Cost Cutters

There is a pattern that I have been seeing in the reviews and in-person. A lot of negative reviews come from Indians that they are being treated harshly. I witnessed this during my cuts once. The staff is very rude towards Indian kids and customers alike. They make very passive aggressive comments and treat them very different than they treat other customers. I hate to say, but this business is certainly racist.

Unacceptable Service & Aggressive Stylist (Avoid for Kids' haircut). ​I wish I could give zero stars. ​This was a hostile and unacceptable experience for my kid's (5yo) haircut, repeated twice with the same stylist. ​(For context, and to be fair to the team, I had a wonderful experiance and professional haircut with Stylist Charlene earlier) From the start, the stylist was combative and aggressively impatient. She spoke to my child in a genuinely rude, harsh tone, making the enviroment uncomfortable causing my kid to become visibly distressed. Her unprofessional and hostile attitude extended to me as the parent as well. She showed the same unprofessional and rude behaviour during my child's last haircut. I was very dissatisfied with my haircut, I even brought in a photo of how I wanted it as I’d have thin here and need a lot of volume. She had to cut any of my hair off and charged me over $30. I just want them to fix it, and I don’t think I will go back here

We LOVE Nikki! 1000/10 recommend her. She is amazing with kids, especially my kids who tend to be more anxious with haircuts. My only negative experience at this location is when we had a stylist that didn’t have a good disposition with kids and made my son anxious. But even with that, I will definitely be going back and seeing Nikki. We also had a good experience with Nicole.

My family and I have been going to cost cutters for years. Everyone is always amazing, friendly, and professional. Yesterday Lyndsey cut my hair and did an excellent job. I was unsure of what I wanted but we talked it through together and I’m so happy with the results. She was patient and understanding.
