We took our 1-year old son here today for his 1st haircut with Cory. It was such a great experience!! Cory was so great with our son… he really took his time to do his cut and he was so good at cutting his hair even while our son was moving around. Everyone at the shop is so friendly. They even gave us some of his hair to take home as a keepsake. Highly recommend!! We are so happy we found this place!

After what they did for me I felt to deserve this review. I was recommended Corey Matthew’s through a good friend of mine who goes to his Cranford location so I went to the Westfield one cause it’s closer to my house. Coming from great clips. These guys are incredible. Five stars every time I go there, I’m always greeted with the offer of coffee or a drink. Specifically one of the barbers forgot that I wanted a fade and the owner allowed me to come back the next weekend free of charge for a quick fix. It surprised me and it shows what they’ll do for a customer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been going to Cory Mathews for years for myself and 2 boys. Always great team there, but this past trip with Cheko was the first time I received multiple compliments about my haircut from both friends and strangers on the street for days afterwards. He really took the time to do a great job but also the care during and after to eliminate the annoying itchy hair bits that were cut off from being on your face, shoes or down your back etc. Def makes you look better walking out then when you walked in.

Having had short hair for decades, one can have the perception that it’s easy for any barber to maintain short hair, but somehow I always felt Corey A., of the Westfield location, cut short hair better than anyone else who had cut my hair over the years. The past 18 months or so, I have had medium-length hair, originally cut/styled by Corey A, scissor work only. Sometimes you can feel like you explained to a barber exactly what you wanted and, despite that, you didn’t get the haircut you wanted. Or, you can feel like you didn’t get the haircut you wanted because maybe you didn’t explain it well enough to the barber.
