Corolla Nails

Down on vacation during Hurricane Erin. I realize the owner wants to make hay when the sun doesn’t shine, but BAD customer service. I called at 930 and was able to make an 1130 appointment. After, I walked in 6 other people walked in and said they had 1130 appointments as well. The place was dirty and you had to put your hands on an old magazine under the dryer. As you can tell from my pictures it was a shoddy job, but not a cheap one, $40. The technician, who was presumably the owner, as she answered the phones and talked to other customers about Venmo and payments, while doing my nails. My daughter & I both had spa pedicures, 1 gel mani & 1 dip mani. The worst experience I’ve ever had and spent $360 ( w tip). First we made an appt for 11:30am, I called and spoke to a woman. When we walked in 2 other women were “checking for 11:30am” to their surprise - there were only 2 people working. She took all 4 of us (2 in our party and 2 in theirs). We all waited at least 30 minutes before any services began. We upgraded our pedicures to spa, absolutely NOT worth it. Annie was rushing SO fast it was not relaxing or enjoyable. The worst part (and why I’m writing this) is my dip gel nails look like a child did them AND she kept cutting me. I left with nicks and cuts all over my fingers. NOT sanitary and will never return. Great place! I made an appointment while on vacation to get an acrylic fill. My manicurist (I believe his name was Jason!) was very meticulous and skilled. The other staff members were kind and friendly. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I recommend!!

I’m believe the owner/manager did my nails. She did what she wanted to them and didn’t listen to what I asked. Strange stuff happening ten days later. I was overcharged for polish removal for a daughter who came in without nail polish. Other employees were attentive and kind. I drew the short straw. We won’t be back again.

Great place. There were two of us and one did a regular manicure, the other acrylic nails with a design. Annie was great - she works very fast and very precise. She was very kind and even sent us home with snacks! The salon is very clean and welcoming. And the price was very affordable. A perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. Will definitely come back again.
