Cornerstone Barber Shop

I'd avoid this place. My fade on the sides was decent, hence the extra star, but I was left with my hair long in spots on top. I basically had bangs and the cowlick which he said was going to remove was not removed. Not only was it a bad haircut on top, but I asked 3 times to make it shorter during my visit. Not sure what his issue was but I left disappointed. Also, this place is Trumpy, with an uncomfortable amount of religious propaganda. Stay away unless being Trumpy is your thing. Plus I watched a barber crank an American Spirit, a potent cig, walk back in the shop, and proceed to cut someone's hair about 15 minutes later. The shop smelled like butts and he did not wash his smoke hands before touching someone else's hair. Yikes.

Great cuts, bad timing to raise prices. $20 was already enough for a haircut. Now they charge $25 just for the haircut and expect a tip on top. Raising the prices to $25 during the pandemic is a bold business move. I can understand a few dollars, but not a 20% price hike! I now go to another local barber for the price I used to get and same great cuts.

They give good haircuts at decent prices but are not good at getting back to you which eventually led to a loss of my business after weeks of contacting and not getting replies, after already being a regular here for over a year. They also often talk amongst themselves without being that inclusive of the people they're cutting, but this was never that persistent of an issue. The former was the bigger problem. But like I said, the haircuts themselves are good

In my humble opinion, this is the best barber shop in Rhode Island. I personally have Stephen cut my hair, but all the barbers are excellent. It's also just a fun atmosphere to hang out in while you're waiting.

down to earth funny, good people that are very talented in their craft. Personally I've Never left the seat unhappy. Great 💈 shop
