We had such a fantastic experience at Cookie Cutters! The booking online was easy, we were immediately greeted when we walk through the door, and I was surprised by how clean it was in there! There is a small play gym for your kids to play on while you wait, as well as a Ms. Pac-man wall game. We were early so we waited a little, but the kids didn’t mind at all! When it was my son’s (3) then, he was able to pick whatever chair he wanted to sit in (they were either cool vehicle chairs on animal salon chairs) and a show to watch to keep him focus/distracted. They had a bag of sensory fidget toys he could use if needed, and Susie was so great with him. I want to say first that the space was clean and overall a great concept. However they ruined my 2 year old son's curly hair. I specifically asked for a slight trim and for her not to cut his curls off. I told her to leave it long and to just take it off his neck a bit and from in front of his eyes. We were left with an uneven, sloppy, short, hacked mess and now we no longer have the beautiful curls we came in with. Our first haircut experience was not what we hoped it would be. Not a curl left on his head now. My son moved a few times during the cut but not enough to justify how bad this came out. This was 30 dollars to top it all off. Before and after pictures below. Being used to cookie cutters in Nashville, we were so disappointed when we moved up here and had to go to sports clips. UNTIL we came across this location! I can’t explain how excited we were! Our daughter got her first cut, our son a trim. To say they exceeded expectations is an understatement. We won’t go anywhere else. They are so good with the kids, and it’s such a fun atmosphere. A playground for siblings to play on as they wait, skilled stylists, multiple themed stations. It’s a kids dream!

We took our 19 month old in for his first hair cut and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Kalli! The place was easy to find, lots of parking, we were greeted within seconds of walking in and were taken back almost immediately (but if you do have to wait, there is a fantastic little play set for the kiddos!). Kalli was so patient and accommodating for our little guy who is still a bit uncomfortable with new experiences - she gave mom and dad space to comfort our son (and didn’t rush us while he adjusted), joined in with the fun by blowing bubbles, playing Mickey Mouse on the TV, talking to him, etc. She moved and grooved while he wiggled and squirmed, checked in with us to make sure we were happy with his hair each step of the way - and in the end, our son has a great

My stylist was so sweet when doing my sons (1.5) hair. He was a bit uncomfortable at first but she made sure to make it as fun and comfortable for him as she could. And before she did anything to his hair she made sure to double check with me first. Highly recommend. Will be going back for all of my sons future haircuts.
