Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids - Ellicott City

We took our son here a week ago for his first haircut (he’s turning 2 soon) and it was a great experience! Camille was his stylist and she was so kind and gentle. Wonderful warm energy too and had plenty of advice whenever we had questions. Our family is Black and so it was also nice to work with Camille because she clearly understood how to approach his curly hair

I was very excited for my daughter to get bangs & also her first haircut. The person I went with did a terrible job. It seemed like she didn’t even try. She left them too short & on top of that so uneven. When we asked her to atleast even them out she gave an attitude. My daughter was crying and moving but she still just did one cut and that was it, didn’t even try to fix it afterwards. On top of that still had the audacity to ask for a tip? Very bad experience, I was recommended to go here but will never go back. I literally could have done this myself at home but I was too scared to mess her up but in the end it was still messed up.

I normally go for Alisha but she didn’t have much availability. A different stylist cut his hair this time. You can see in the pictures that I’m gonna have to fix whatever she was doing to the sides of his head. She also didn’t say anything before putting some random product in his hair, the entire top of his head is a greasy clump. It doesn’t exactly feel good to know the only time we didn’t have Alisha , we ended up getting a bad haircut.

We love cookie cutters and have been going there for years now! Alisha is great! She is so quick and great with the kids! The kids love getting their hair cut and enjoy their special prizes after the visits!

Would not recommend. My three year old gets so upset during hair cuts so we decided to try this place. The older lady that we got was so unfriendly and clearly does not know how to cut hair. I asked for a scissor cut because he would be scared of buzzers and she started with the trimmer anyways! Once she was trying to hold his head and got the scissors near his face because she wasn’t paying attention, we left. She wasn’t trying to make the experience enjoyable or console him at all. Not impressed at all…
