Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids - Canton

We get my son’s (5) hair cut here every couple months. He loves sitting in the variety of different cars. We’ve always been pleased with how his hair turns out every time! Josie does a great job.

We’ve been taking our son TJ to cookie cutters for years. We love the atmosphere and the focus on children. We have been going to Jennifer for our last several visits and we absolutely LOVE her. She’s so good with my son. . And his haircuts are always amazing. He looks forward to his hair cuts now and is excited to come! That’s a win !

Not a great experience overall. We arrived on time for our appointment and ended up waiting about 15 minutes while the stylist slowly checked out a customer, finished cleaning her space, without a greeting, a smile, or asking us to wait. It was disappointing for a children’s hair salon where you expect a warmer, more cheerful environment. The haircut looked okay at first, but after washing her hair at home, I noticed a lot of unevenness and poor shaping. She didn’t even do a quick blow-dry, and I noticed her hair was still wet when we left. I came in expecting a more professional experience, but honestly, I feel like I could’ve done a better job myself.

My daughter is autistic and I’ve been wanting to find somewhere with a good rep for being patient and kind. I was recommended to this place and it was so worth the almost hour drive. They were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. I love that there were things that my kid could physically do while we waited. She loved the slide especially. Then she had even more fun picking a fun little chair. She was immediately asked what show she wanted to watch since every chair had a tv in front of it and this made the entire process easier for everyone. The stylist was so patient and gentle. Everyone was very nice and talkative. Before leaving she was able to pick a balloon and we left without any tears :) I’m very happy with our visit. My daughter received a trim and a bang. Very affordable

Incredibly disappointed that the last few times we’ve visited that the stylist we signed up for in pre-booking weeks prior wasn’t who ended up cutting my child’s hair; we walk in and are surprised with someone completely new. We were notified when we showed up for a planned haircut with Wendy that she had quit and wasn’t there anymore. Same thing happened next with Alicia. Then Jennifer was packed up and leaving when we arrived for our latest appointment with her. The response was that she was off the clock. Why offer an appointment time with her then? There appears to be a lot of turnover now, and it’s disappointing to a family that regularly visited and loved having a relationship with a stylist at this location.
