Community Dental of Walled Lake

After 13 years with my previous dentist, I found myself needing to establish care with a new practice — not a small decision. I’m so glad I chose Community Dental of Walled Lake. From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, welcoming, and efficient. Hanna was especially excellent — she clearly explained each step of the appointment and thoughtfully walked me through her observations, which I truly appreciated. Dr. George was kind, thorough, and highly knowledgeable, taking the time to ensure I felt informed and comfortable. Overall, it was a seamless and reassuring first experience. I’m confident in my decision and look forward to continuing my dental care with this team.

Was over billed twice within 6 months. After the first over bill, I found they billed my daughter twice for her cleaning. Effectively canceling her second insurance paid cleaning. I spoke to them about it and a separate charge and thought it was resolved until they sent me another bill 3 weeks later. I would not recommend. I do however like and recommend Dr George

Definitely not the "Walmart of dental" on cost, but they offer a consistently great service, with the most personable dental hygienist/assistants I've ever met. I rarely doubt that they are advising me on the best course of action. As an adult who is "neuro divergent" I'd recommend them to someone who's child may have special needs or attention.

The entire staff was very pleasant, kind, and considerate they made sure I understood what was taking place and what was gonna take place in the future for the work that needed to be performed again they were all very thoughtful, kind and considerate I would highly recommend the dentist as well as the entire practice to anyone and of course they had all the latest technological equipment. That’s necessary to perform whatever dental service you need.

I am very disappointed with how my son’s “dental emergency” visit was handled. Before coming in, I was reassured over the phone that my son would be taken care of that same day. Based on that reassurance, I took time off work and pulled my son out of school. Once we arrived, we were told he had a tooth infection, would need pulpotomy, abscess at the gum line, and he needs oral antibiotics. When I asked the dentist to show me the abscess, there was no visible abscess or gum infection as she described. A dentist friend also examined it and agreed the gums appeared healthy. We were then told no treatment could be done because insurance predetermination was required and we would have to wait. This was never mentioned during the phone call and should have been clearly communicated upfront. T
