Comb Barbershop

Only barbershop I’ll ever go to!!! I recently moved to Montclair, NJ and was referred to Comb. Vito and his crew are exceptional. The shop is clean and everyone takes pride in their work. And on top of it all, they cut with care and personal attention. HIGHY RECOMMEND if you want to feel like family with your barber

Came in today and got a great haircut. There was no wait when I came in (probably because its a Thursday around lunchtime). I am horrible with names and cant remember who cut my hair, but she was blonde with glasses and her name began with D. She was very nice and made sure I was happy with the haircut I got, she even trimmed up my eyebrows a bit. Would definitely recommend and will be back, thanks again for the great cut!

I've always taken great pride in my hair, so when I moved to NJ from NY, I needed to find a place I knew would take good care of my hair, and Comb Barbershop exudes pride. They second I walked in, the vibes were immaculate--you can tell just be the decor that you're in a space that is friendly, inviting, and full of experts who take pride in what they do, and that's exactly what I found in Vito, Comb's owner. He was so outgoing and put me at ease, like I'd known him a lot longer than a few minutes. Vito is a master at his craft and it shows in how methodical he is. He also explained his process, which I very much appreciated as a teacher. I can't wait to go back for my next cut.

I went to January at Combs hesitant about going to a barber vs. a salon but had followed for a bit. I have extremely curly hair and I'm glad I trusted this shop and love my new hairstyle. Went from hair past my mid back to shorter with a longer middle part after redying my hair a lot and struggling with the texture after a bunch of dye jobs to start over. Will be coming back!

Comb is an amazing barbershop. The kind of place where it has a family feel, full of kindness, genuine warmth, and a quality haircut that can’t be found elsewhere. Vito and Darleen alone make the experience worth it and the prices being decent help as well. Don’t skip this wonderful hair-cuttery!
