Columbus School of Medical Massage

Former Student, Graduated 2/3/26 This is the 4th trade school program/school I have attended (adding to my current skills). Program prepared me to pass the MBLEX on my first attempt. School does accept Post 911 GI Bill for finacial aid. I had the teaching team of Rebecca for Massage and Jessica for Anatomy & Physiology. Both teachers went above and beyond to help students that needed extra help and showed that they were dedicated/serious about their education. Rebecca has over 12 years experience as a Massage Therapist and was able to use her experiences and knowledge to help us through the program, as well as understanding why something did or didn't work when we took clients in the student clinic. I have had 2 massages here-both satisfactory. My second massage was awesome! I have called now twice (wanting to schedule with the second student) and NO ONE HAD SEEN FIT TO CALL ME BACK. So, I guess I won’t be going back🙁 @@@@Editing my review: Becky called me today. It seems that my call and request for an appointment was written on a note that was misplaced. I understand that things happen so went ahead and scheduled a massage. And updated the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars😉

If I could give them 0 stars I would ! This school and company are a joke ! Do not waste your time or money going here. It’s a revolving door for the staff and they hire instructors who are very under qualified for the position. My class has multiple teachers who did not know anything about teaching. Our last teacher admitted she didn’t know what she was doing and they still let her teach. More than half of her classes that took their mblex FAILED! They don’t care about their students they just want your money. They are way too expensive to not have things like massage table that don’t constantly need to be fixed (yes we had to screw in screws every time a client got on the tables) and a proper filing system for clients in the student clinic. Horrible, I got bullied by the staff and students, the curriculum was horrible, the tests had wrong answers all the time and no one took accountability and would just get defensive if you spoke up about it, 1/3 of my class failed the MBLEx probably due to the constant staff turnover (over 4 instructors in 1 year), the facilities (bathrooms especially were disgusting), and finally I was told at the start of 2nd semester loans would be discussed and they took out 10k+ in loans in my name because I was misled to sign a paper, would NOT recommend

I've been going there on a weekly basis for about 3 years, but I can't go anymore because I'm not going to be "stood up" by the therapist again (She forgot...). It really is a great value and a good massage, but 15% of the time, you will arrive, and the therapist won't. Massive waste of time on a planned day off.
