Color Bar Salon

My stylist was wonderful. She does excellent work. However, the receptionist there was verbally abusing my stylist in front of me and other customers. Very unprofessional.

I have gone to color bar a few times but I am always happy with their work. In the past I had a stylist named Lotti ? I believe, and her work was amazing. This time I had Ramona and her work was also amazing:) I have long thick hair and I had about 5 solid inches of just GRAYS grown out so she definitely had her work cut out for her. I wanted a full head of highlights so it takes several hours of work. Photos attached are before and after!

My daughter and I walked in and informed the receptionist if we can get a manicure and was immediately told, "We are booked and we don't have anyone." She then starred at us and didn't even ask us if we wanted to book an appointment for another day. She didn't offer an apology or anything. So, yeah that happened. For future reference, the receptionist should take the time to offer future bookings and practice better customer service. I'm not salty because they were "booked" with only a few people in the salon, but amazed on how quickly we were dismissed.

I recently moved to a new area, and this was my first visit to Color Bar. Receptionist Ginger makes you feel like family. Stylist/(Owner?) Wendy expertly matched my color on seriously outgrown roots. She LISTENED. She looked at my pics. She asked questions. Then she knocked it out of the park with the cut, which looks great even though it is a transition to a different style. Cleanliness standards were very impressive and the price was competitive. The other employees were cheerful and chatty. I’m going back in 2 days to get my nails done and made my next hair appointment for next month. VERY happy!

I moved to Surprise in March and have been searching for a Nail Guru since! I finally found her today!! Natalie is PHENOMENAL! She is super welcoming, explains everything, spectacular work, thorough, and she was awesome to hang out with for 90 minutes! I am so excited and relieved to have found her after 8 months of searching. Please come visit her, you wont be disappointed!!
