How have I been coming here for TWO years and never left a review? FORGIVE ME. In short summary, Karen is a beautiful amalgamation of a scientist/wizard/magical goddess when it comes to hair -- do not be fooled by her name, this Karen is not for the "Karens" She can make all of your hair wishes come true, but I don't even make wishes because I just tell Karen to do whatever she wants and I end up with the most beautiful and perfect hair imaginable and I collect compliments for weeks and weeks. I've had everything from deep red, blue, blond, etc. hair courtesy of Karen (and her amazing sidekick, Cecelia!) and it comes out beautiful and healthy every time! Thank you Color Bar 51 for having only the very best people there! I look forward to every appointment!

I had my hair cut, toned and a blowout done by George. I’m so happy with the results, he listened, understood and did exactly what I asked for. He was such a kind hearted guy, he made me feel comfortable from the start. I’ve used this Salon before with mixed reviews on my results, as long as George is there I’ll continue going. I’m happy I gave it another try, It’s now my new Salon.

This salon is always clean, welcoming, and on time with appointments. The staff are friendly and attentive, offering coffee, water, and snacks, and the whole experience feels professional yet relaxed. They carry great products and often have fun extras like local art or product promos. I see Tara for color and cuts—she’s an incredible for blondes especially- but I’d recommend this salon to anyone looking for a top-quality, well-run “go to” salon.

Brielle did the most amazing job on my hair !! She was so sweet and careful to make sure it was everything I dreamed of. I had such a good time chatting with her as well.

I have been going to this salon, specifically with the owner Tara for over 10 years. She listens and executes every single time flawlessly. The staff is friendly and customer centric where you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. I can’t say enough about this amazing salon and the people.
