Codes Hair Braiding

This was place it completely unprofessional & just ridiculous. For starters they don’t have set prices they gave me 3 different prices before i even got my hair washed which was the ONLY acceptable part of this entire situation. I repeatedly had to asked could she do the service i requested showed photos explained to her how to two strand twist properly and all she even asked me if i had rubber bands at this point i was ready to just pay for the wash and go but the other stylist kept telling me she was going to be able to do it. She was mixing gels and using so much it was disgusting she keep getting gel on my clothes and when i asked for something she keep saying it’s getting on her but for me it doesn’t change the fact I’m not paying for this. Horrible experience. From the appointment to the actual styling I made very clear that I wanted "small, waist length, knotless braids". This was discussed 3 separate times. They told me that it would be $250. They asked for payment shortly after they began. From the parting of the first section, I knew that the parting was going to be too big for the small pieces of hair that they were using. When I told them the parting was too big they said it was going to be $350 to go any smaller. From the front (which is the only thing you can see when you're getting your hair braided) it didn't look bad... the ladies were very rude and spoke in their language assuming you couldn’t understand what they were saying. on top of being EXTREMELY rough with my hair (and I’m not tender headed, I got cornrows for the majority of my childhood. she was literally yanking my hair and didn’t bother combing through it before braiding), it felt as though they were more concerned with being able to service as many people as possible instead of providing quality service. the lady who did my hair was also rude when it came time to collect the payment. I asked the price again just to verify and she just held her hand out expecting me to hand her my full wad of cash. Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment. extremely overpriced.

Horrible service, originally called in and asked if it was a wait time and i was told no i came in and it was multiple people sitting down with their hair not done. I came once before and was going to get charged $250 for knotless braids but only got charged $200 but they were not done how i wanted. Came in for something bigger and she tried charging me $250 for that as well. The braid were horrible as soon as the started on my hair THREE HOURS LATER. Spent thousands of dollars here over the last 5 years and sent other people there to get their braids done.They used to charge 160 (including hair, which I always bring my own) and now upped to 180 and STILL try get 200. I get tired of arguing with them about price everytime I come. On top of that the last few times my hair wasn't braided as specified and did not last longer than 5 to 6 weeks. The very last time I got Fulani braids and my middle braid was clearly off center (which looked crazy).
