Megan just gave me the best haircut of my life (excluding the childhood bowl cuts, of course). If you're looking for a cut that suits your style and personality, then I very highly recommend you see Megan and Cloak & Razor. I'm not being hyperbolic—I can corroborate all preceding 5-star reviews. As a first time client, we had a consultation where she showed me subtleties about my hair that I did not know beforehand. She is highly perceptive and detail-oriented, while keeping a keen eye on the bigger picture. She is literally a scientist, seamlessly instructive, and a brilliant conversationalist, imho. I had such a great experience that, immediately upon departure, I had to phone a friend because I needed someone to know.

So happy I went in a for a cut! Megan asked how I usually liked my hair, then suggested some things that made it so much better! So skilled at layering and adding volume where needed. Not to mention the vibes were immaculate. Right away I noticed that the guy before and after me were so insanely comfortable and confident in her, they knew she would give them an amazing haircut without any doubt. I’ll be coming back every month!! Couldn’t recommend her more.

I first saw Megan after getting one of the worst haircuts of my life at another establishment. She listened to what I wanted, took the time to discuss potential haircuts and made me look great. I have been going to her ever since. Megan is a skilled barber with a keen eye for perfection and detail, who always figures out how to give me exactly what I want - even when I am barely able to articulate it. I can't recommend her enough!

Megan really knows her stuff and takes in all your ideas/wants for your hair then executes artistically and professionally. I'm a woman with historically short hair and I'm growing it out, which anyone knows is not an easy phase. Megan has been so so helpful in making it work for me. I am so grateful! Stellar location to boot - super close to the L, and an overall cozy spot. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Whatever Webster Dictionary defines as an expert, Megan is far above that. Not only is she impeccably skilled with scissors and a clipper, she is truly a one in a million kind hearted friend. I can come to her shop having a really bad day, and I can leave with a perfect haircut, smile on my face, and weight off my shoulders. Rarely will you find someone as personable, caring, and considerate. Even if you dont need a haircut, go to Megan for the jokes, conversation, and safe space to let out your troubles. 500/5 stars
