I got a silk press and I loved everything about it. My hair did not smell burnt and it was not rushed. Mariah Campbell did my hair and I will go back to her. However they do charge 40 dollars additional for a hair trim. Which I think is pretty excessive.

This has taken me some time to write this review, bc of how traumatic my hair turned out, but please beware of this business. I came in for a simple cut and silk press. The stylist I booked with, was overbooked, so I ended up going with Joselyn. I think the heat on her hair iron was high, or she didn’t acknowledge my hair texture nor checked the hair iron. I ended up getting a silk press, and I felt like my hair super thin and had no life to it. I thought there was something wrong with my hair, but I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to accuse any one of anything. It was until I washed my hair a two weeks later, I saw that I had severe heat damage and my texture was completely ruined. This is seriously one of the most traumatic hair experience I have ever had. I wanted to wait until I washed my silk press out before leaving a review, as we all know damage can happen. But nope! No damage. I had a silk press appt with Tashauna and she did great. She let me annoy her with all my questions and assured me I was in good hands. My silk press lasted me a while and it was very silky. I hope to come back to her again for my next appointment. :)

Definitely see why something was off the moment I step foot to book an appointment here at this place. Very unprofessional in regards of communication. Calling my phone back to back like a crazy ex boyfriend is nuts. To demand answers in regards of an appointment time. The front desk representative truly sounds like she can commit to being a professional staff member but the protocol and mannerisms is a 0 out of 10. I truly try my best to support black owned but the disappointment always redirect my decision. Sidebar, the second weird thing I witness is they have a buzzer entrance and exiting protocol as well. First and Last time going to this salon and I traveled from Queens. They charged me $120 for a braid down? This is insane???? I will never be back. I was able to get a wash and trim, but $120 for a braid-down is unacceptable. I dont' even have a lot of hair.. The prices are inconsistent and they do not have any products that supports hair growth. I'LL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!!!!! EVER AGAIIN!!!!!!
