Claire's Massage Studio

I really enjoyed my massage with Claire. Her pressure is firm and gets to those sore spots. She is by far the best massage therapist that I’ve ever had a chance to experience. So much so, that I know compare all others to her. I now live in Florida; however, I always make sure to visit her establishment whenever I am in California. The office is very relaxing, and I love the fragrances. Really puts you at ease. Overall, I couldn’t recommend a better massage therapist than Claire.

Just two quick turns off the freeway, and you're there. Lots of spots to park. Stepping into Claire’s serene studio is a whole different experience. You're welcomed by thoughtfully curated decor and the calming scent of her handmade candles. Soft, tranquil music plays in the background, and I absolutely loved the heated massage table. She did a verbal check in about how my body was feeling & addressed all of my areas over the next 90 min. This was my first lymphatic drainage massage — it was intense, but in the best way. It’s not unusual to experience some discomfort following this type massage as the body processes the released toxins. I made sure to drink extra water and take it easy afterward. I went to Claire for a lymphatic drainage massage not expecting anything different from a deep tissue massage. Let me tell you. This massage was AMAZING!! For a lack of a better word. I’ve been having deep tissue massages for years as I am a very active person. I do weight training 5-6 days a week and also Mountain Bike a few times a month. I had a terrible pain on my left shoulder for almost a year that prevented me from doing heavy shoulder presses or side laterals. After the massage with Claire, I was able to sleep with no pain and I actually reached my PR in shoulder presses! I am so thankful to Claire. She is very knowledgeable, professional. She has very strong hands but knew exactly where to put more emphasis and pressure after I described to her what I needed. She helped me

Claire has a great understanding of body alignment and pressure points. I received a deep tissue massage that helped me relax and detox stress. She is friendly and has a relaxing office space. I had a wonderful massage from Claire and look forward to booking my next! 💕

I waited a couple of days for my initial dissatisfaction to pass before writing this review. I fully recognize the difficulty of running a business in the expensive Bay Area. But I also work hard for my money, and when I spend a good amount of it and provide instructions, I do hope I'm listened to. That wasn't the case here, and I feel like she just went through her usual routine instead of focusing on the problem areas I identified prior to the session starting.
