I live close by but stopped coming here a while ago because they never have nothing I need. Today decided I would go here to get a quick relaxer. Guess what- they don’t sell relaxers. Useless. Anybody is better off going to Point Breeze where they got 3 hair stores on one block.

Definitely one of my favorite beauty supply stores it’s like a one stop shop they literally have everything plus more and the staff are super friendly and helpful

Everything was fine every-time I went to this store until I had some extra money to spend, took my time and looked around the whole store for everything I wanted and the tall bird looking black lady that help people in the back with wigs had the NERVE to talk about me to her friend and say “people always stealing” only because I was walking around the entire store to see what they have and spend all this money on them. And how did I know she was talking about me? Because I was the only one in the store and she kept looking at me. So the nerve of her to ASSUME and talk down on her own people like that when the people that own the store don’t even like you fr. YOU JUST THE HELP B‼️

The staff is actually quite kind. Gave me space to browse, but let me know they were ready to help. Dior was patient with me, close to closing time. Her help with fitting made me feel respected, understood, and like I was buying what I actually wanted. I didn't get the other woman's name, but she offered to help and gave feedback on different styles. And i was shopping for cheap stuff. I got the quality of customer service here that I've been missing at other stores. Did I mention reasonable prices? That, too.

For the most part CK has a fairly large collection of hair products, however; the selection of real hair products such as hair pieces, I found to be limited with on fine brand name or none at all.The prices are reasonable. The service was not as friendly or attentive as I would have liked, minus the cashier who was friendly, helpful and most likely one of the owners. Would I go back again? Yes.
