As a frequent traveler there, I only just learned that most barber shops in Eureka are by appointment only. Bill was the absolute best and well worth the wait. He's also a very erudite gentleman who has worked in several fields over the years, and very enjoyable to chat with.

Bill is an excellent barber. Shop has the feel of an old- timey men's club. Love it. If you've never had a shave with warm towels and a straight razor, treat yourself here.

Bill is great, and I recommend him to everybody. He is especially great at answering any questions you have. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and responds really well to input and even criticism. He absolutely cares about his clients, and loves what he does, and it shows. Traditionally, I go in once (maybe twice) a year for a big hair cut, and I was shocked when, at my second visit (a year after my first), he totally remembered me. He asked me questions from a year prior, and I let him know that the day after the first time he cut my hair, a girl came up to me and introduced herself, and that the second haircut (a year later) was for our wedding. He doesn't take credit for that, but I kind of feel like he should.

Bill is a great barber. I always stop by his shop when I’m in Humboldt. He provides great haircuts and beard trims. The conversations are fun and interesting.

Excellent barber shop, so far the best I have found in Humboldt. Average industry price of about $30 for a fade, a top cut, and a straight razor clean up. The interior of the shop has a classic hardwood and leather feel with retro barber chairs. Bill gave me a great cut and I'll definitely be heading back soon. P.S. this place is appointment only, perhaps some people are not familiar with this, but it is standard practice in most busy barber shops.
