City Nails On Square

+1 star solely because the nails look nice from far away & the lady that did my nails was so nice. to anyone going, BE WARNED THAT THEY ARE VERY ROUGH WITH NAILS. as soon as i sat down and saw how sharp that bit was and how fast she had it going, i knew i was in for trouble. my thumb nail cuticle area is completely sliced open. the picture i’ve uploaded is not it actively bleeding, that is the OPEN WOUND alone. on my ring nail, she completely filed the top of my nail bed away, like down to the meat underneath. to try and cover it up, she flooded my cuticles with polish, but there’s some slight discoloration due to the red/purple meat color underneath🥲 overall, nice nails from afar but they were so painful to get done and hurt so bad as i type this. i will never come to this business again

I was walking home after dinner and passed the salon at around 6:30. Decided I would like a pedicure. They close at seven And there were no customers in the salon. They accommodated me. At 6:57 I was still drying and I started to get up to leave so they could close and the woman insisted I stay under the dryer for a few more minutes. Around 7:10 she put oil drops on my nails and wrapped my foot in plastic so that my shoes wouldn’t ruin the paint as I walked to the train. It was very impressed and thought they were very nice. I highly recommend the salon.

my pedicure was going fine until someone walked in at the person knew she stopped doing my nails and walked over and talked to person for about a half an hour never letting me know that I was done. I wasn’t walked over to a dryer. I wasn’t given a massage. I wasn’t told anything I wasn’t thanked. Finally i asked can we finish? She said i you were relaxing. She only did one coat. ll never go back N in was totally disrespected I’ve never had an experience like this before at a nail salon. for the price I paid which was way too high $45 for only a pedicure. I think they really need to rethink how they treat their customers.

First time in Philly, needed my gel color removed for a photoshoot over the weekend. The woman who did my nails was paying more attention to her television show than she was to drilling my nails raw. I have never left a salon being able to feel the breeze on my nail beds. My nails have never been so frail and brittle, it genuinely hurts to touch them. 2 have already broken. That being said, the price is right for what you’re getting.

I've never received a pedicure so fast. No attention to my cuticles. Wasn't asked what or if I wanted extra services. Less than 1 minute massage. Told them how unpleased I was about my service and how I saw attention was paid to another patrons. There answer was. She paid.
