City Barber & Style Shop

I was in town for a medical appointment and needed a haircut. I found this place on Google maps. It reminded me of old time barber shops from my childhood except no other customers or men just hanging out in the shop. Surprisingly, the barber was young. I have a pretty simple cut, just shear off what little have left. He did a good job. Price is higher than I am used to for such a simple cut. You don't see barber shops like this anymore. I hope this one is around for a while longer.

This is an old barber shop with many years of experience. This shop has been around this town over 100 years. I can remember my first hair cut at the age of five, when there were two old men cutting hair. I remember that Mr. Langley cut my hair. There were just a bunch of old men sitting around talking and reading the daily news papers. Mr. Langley was always so patient with me, even when I was being disruptive. Then years Mr. Bobby showed up and my dad had me go to him. Every time after that I always went to Mr.Bobby. I moved away for many years and come back home and Mr. Bobby still had the shop still alive and cutting. Through all the years good and bad Mr. Bobby has kept this shop open no matter what. Now Mr. Bobby has his son in the shop working and cutting just the same way

Always polite and courteous. Good Ole home town feel and takes me back to years gone by when customer service was king. Haircut is always cut to your specifications. Both barbers are top notch. My grandson loves going too.

Hidden gem in Tarboro. 100% has that old style barbershop feel. Always have a nice time and a nice chat while getting my hair cut. So relaxing and very good price. Definitely recommend.
