If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I went in for a gel pedicure and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon. While working on my toes, the technician began cutting into my nail beds — which is a huge no — so I immediately asked her not to cut my cuticles. After that, she placed my feet in water, took them out shortly after, and asked if I wanted my heels shaved, which I declined. From that point on, it felt like she decided to do the bare minimum. She only trimmed my nails, with no proper cuticle care, exfoliation, or thorough pedicure process. She didn’t check properly for ingrown nails or address any foot concerns. I live in Jersey City and travel to Avenel for mani/pedis at Cindy's VIP Nail Spa. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating to people with disabilities. Numerous services are offered and the results are outstanding! I feel so relaxed and pampered after my treatments!

I went for a pedicure, they wanted to charge me $88 for a spa pedicure plus $10 for callus remover. The tools they use are not cleaned, they use the same brush on everyone. Also they did a terrible job! They don't clean under your nails and my feet were in the water for less than 3 minutes. Just horrible

First off, I would like to say the staff was friendly and courteous. My husband and I came last week to have our “self care” day at this location (which is new to us). Everything was great. They cleaned the equipment and was very kind. The only issue that I have is that I paid $65 for a manicure that lasted exactly one week. That is what disappoints me.

Always love how my gel nails turn out at Cindy’s VIP Nails. They are so gentle with you and everything is always super clean. My favorite nail place ever!
