Cincinnati School of Medical Massage

Before becoming disabled, I was a licensed medical massage therapist. I graduated in 2010, top of the class (bragging moment). I loved the professors that taught our classes. I was/am a single mom, and this trade school was a perfect solution for me regarding their class schedule etc. I was taught by Dr. Nichols in Anatomy and Physiology every Thursday evening (5-9/10 p.m.). We never had to do homework, but we did need to study hard each week because we had exams every other week basically. My other class was on Tuesday evenings with Bill, LMT [R.I.P] and Lori, LMT (5-9/10p.m.). They taught the morals and ethics of massage. I visited the school today and during my massage I could hear the staff in the hallway patronizing another student. I was so angry it took every thing I had to not get off the table and go say something. I am disgusted at the way they treated the students, especially this student. Despite the fact that my student massage was absolutely fantastic. I would not recommend this place to anyone for an education!

Unprofessional, overcharged for the friends and family rate, administrator is extremely disrespectful to students in front of clients. You’d never know she’d even work there because of her unprofessional attire and attitude if it weren’t for her holding a clipboard. Couldn’t be bothered to get off the couch to help students rectify the situation.

Today was my first time getting a massage at the Cincinnati School of Medical Center. The price for a 50-minute massage was 40.00, the special they were offering was too good to pass up. They were offering 4 massages for 110.00. This reduced the price of each massage to 27.50. I was very happy with my massage therapist, Amauria Campbell. She did an excellent job, applying a nice amount of pressure, which helped relieve some of my muscle tension.

My wife is a student here and admins should reconsider the instructors they hire. CLARA CHASTEEN needs her job revoked. She is completely unreasonable to her students. She will spend hours of class time punishing her students for speaking up to the people higher than her about how TERRIBLE she runs the class. She does not give the material needed for students to be able to pass this class. She spends hours in class doing NOTHING the students just sit there watching time pass. She wastes time and then has night students stuck in class much longer than expected. She Gives a study guide (on an extremely rare occasion that she even does provide one) for an exam THE NIGHT BEFORE the test that is also completely different from what has been being told to study.
