I signed up for a $9.99/month digital subscription after receiving a call from the Cincinnati Enquirer. Instead I was charged $19.99. When I reached out to customer service, they confirmed— after listening to the recorded call— that $9.99 was the agreed-upon rate and promised to fix it. Days later, nothing had changed. I called again, and this time was told that offer was no longer available. I requested a supervisor call me back and was promised they’d reach out within two hours. It’s now been two days— still no call. The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch, and the customer service was truly disappointing. I’ve canceled my subscription and won’t be returning.

I received an email from Jason Guthrie supposed customer service guru informing me that my annual rate for subscription was $9.99 for the year. Paid the subscription charge to my credit card in May. Was billed again in June. Called customer service was told the $9.99 a year rate was no longer valid and it was $9.99 a month. Told them to cancel my subscription and to refund the June charge and alsoRefund the annual rate for May. Got billed again in July after receiving an email stating my subscription was canceled. Can’t talk to a real person left a message for Mr. Guthrie hoping someone at the Enquirer pays attention and gets in touch with me as I’ve left messages at the general number listed on Google maps as the main line. I don’t have time to screw around every month to cancel fraudule

Terrible customer service from their customer service representatives. Our experience over the past 4 years has been awful. Missed deliveries, soaking wet papers that were tossed (unsealed) in the storm drain instead of on the driveway. The customer service reps promise re-deliveries that never arrive. Today's experience took the cake. We received only a partial paper on Sunday. We tried to call on Monday but the estimated wait time was 1 hour and 45 minutes. We tried again on Tuesday and after an hour wait finally got to speak to someone. The rep PROMISED re-delivery Wednesday morning. Of course, it didn't get re-delivered today. So we called AGAIN. After 20 minutes of waiting, we got a rep who told us that they never re-deliver a Sunday paper. We expressed our frustration. I

what a worthless team of customer service personnel. I am now on hold again to attempt to resolve a subscription issue. The last 2 times I was assured the issue would be resolved....you betcha!!! I was promised a $5 credit in January that didn’t happen. Then cancelled since I can’t trust this company to issue my credit. Now I just want to cancel and its worse than a root canal!!

I finally cancelled my subscription after being charged for a monthly subscription that was inconsistently delivered or missing coupon inserts. They offered me 2 free weeks if I'd continuing being a subscriber, but 2 free weeks doesn't cover all the missing papers and inserts.
