Christina Richards Certified Advanced Rolfer

Christina is a gem! I don't usually write reviews but feel I must write a glowing one for Christina. As a professional dancer, Christina saved me big time. I came to her with a myriad of mysterious symptoms that all came down to my right SI joint being impaired. After only 3 sessions I had improved mobility, and after 8 I felt quite fixed up! I was so taken with the practice if Rolfing that I then committed to doing the official 10 sessions. That decision was wise! I now feel more integrated physically and able to release places where I normally hold tension. Christina also has a lovely "bedside" manner. She is, I think at this point anyway, the ONLY healthcare practitioner and body worker I have come across who TRULY listens. She listens without preconceptions or prejudices and responds

I have recently completed the 10 series and couldn’t be happier with the results. It took me ages to decide which rolfer to go to and I’m so glad I picked Christina. She’s kind, knowledgeable and I really enjoyed our sessions. I’ve learned a lot and not just about Rolfing. For me the service Christina provided was like chicken soup for the body AND the soul. Few sessions in, I always felt so relaxed in my body, like my body has been through the pasta maker lol. I didn’t find the sessions painful at all. I’ve wanted to try Rolfing to help me with an old yoga back injury, as weekly chiropractor visits over the last two years eased the symptoms for a day or two, but I have not experienced any lasting changes. Rolfing with Christina changed that for me. I’ve no issues with taking deep breath

I saw Christina for a one-off session. I was having chronic pain in my quads while running and walking, and in one session Christina did some fascial massage and a thorough gait analysis. Following her corrections to my walking and running gait over the next few weeks eliminated 97% of my symptoms! She was great over the phone and email, very responsive and clear, and it was easy to find an appointment time that worked.

A gentle and disciplined Rolfer, Christina brings her background as a dancer, a pilates instructor, a massage therapist to help you achieve a more balanced way of moving and a body that is flexible and pain free.
