Customer Reviews
I cannot recommend Christie’s Co and Salon in Bayside enough! Jayson, the new owner, is amazing, so sweet, and truly talented. He is hands down the best at color, and the Christie’s team gives haircuts and styled looks that leave my hair looking absolutely flawless. Their makeup services are excellent and complete the whole salon experience. The salon is wonderful.
I have been going to Christie and Company for many years. Lois and her staff have always demonstrated great skill and professionalism in their craft. Lois has done a fabulous job with my color and Marissa is great at styling my hair. I couldn’t be happier! Except perhaps, when I get my eyebrows done next month. lol
This place is a complete ripoff. My daughter got her hair colored the day before Thanksgiving spent over $400 and for a touch up less than 2 mths later they charged almost the same price. Also, they lied. They asked me about a blowout for my daughter and I said whatever she wanted to do, she had already told them no and they came back and told her I said she should get a blowout. Stay away you'll only be robbed.
Very, professional salon. BIG shout out to nail tech Mary! She did my wedding nails and went above and beyond. She's very talented, I highly recommend her!!
I went for color, bayalage, hair cut, and blow out. It cost $488. Bayalage alone was $375, fine. It's my sisters wedding and I wanted to look great. I brought my real hair extensions with me and she did not want to dye them, which I understand. But she refused to tell me which base color she used so I could dye them myself. Refused. I asked 3 times, and had the receptionist even ask and she came up to the counter frustrated and shouting. We are not curing cancer here, this is not proprietary information. Was I going to steal the color and go elsewhere after telling her I would see her every 6 week for a $100 touch up? They lost a customer and hopefully many more after I share my experience everywhere I possibly can.
