Nope, keep looking. After waiting over an hour for service, I finally climbed into a seat (in a state of disrepair). The cut itself was good overall, but had sloppy flaws. When I told the barber that there was still hair above my ears, and that the sides were uneven, he bragged about his decades of experience, and that I was disrespecting him. I could not get out of there fast enough. $30 is a lot of money to ask, for a haircut that you need to fix yourself when you get home. PS: Looks like I should have read the reviews before going. I'm only the most recent unsatisfied customer from Chris. Seems to be a regular occurrence.

Let me start off by saying the haircut quality is great here. The price is right and people here know how to cut hair. A haircut will take more than 30min to complete because they want to do a good job. Some of them transitioned from a old spot on Baltimore Pike. The review goes sour after that. Waiting 2-3 hours for a haircut is unacceptable. "Homeboys" coming in after you without appointments will get a cut before you. Barbers will walk past you and randomly pick someone and ask if they are being helped even if that kid just came in. No poops given about who came in first. The motto here is, "you snooze, you lose." I'm sure getting appointments would resolve the situation, but my schedule is always shifting so I don't really like to confirm to a sure time. This joint seems to

There is only one phenomenal barber here; the rest are one-trick-ponies and seem very subpar. (They are only used to the standard taper or high-top fade. Proceed with caution if you're looking to get something a little different.) There's a reason this one barber is constantly booked with appointments day in and day out while the other barbers are generally always available. The prices here are low, so you get what you pay for. If you've ever gotten a cut at a high quality place, you'll notice the difference in skill/quality once you get a cut at Ace of Fades.
