Chicago Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Carmen was very professional and knowledgeable. I had both at home and in her studio lymphatic drainage massages and both went very well. She has a beautiful, clean studio and does a great job of creating a calm and peaceful environment. She only does what you can handle and is just fine with softening up if you need her too. She understands you’re in pain after surgery and I’d recommend her 100%. And she has the best prices.

I cannot recommend Carmen enough. After surgery, I didn’t realize how much tension I was holding in my chest, shoulders, and underarms. My pecs were extremely tight, and my neck and shoulders were very contracted. Carmen worked with incredible precision and care, including lymphatic drainage and ultrasound therapy, and the difference was remarkable. She found adhesions and tight areas I didn’t even know were there and treated them thoroughly without ever making me feel uncomfortable. I left feeling lighter, more open, and deeply relaxed. The ultrasound made a noticeable difference in how the tissue responded, and I truly felt like we were addressing the root of the tension, not just the surface. If you’re recovering from surgery or holding chronic tension, she is a miracle worker

I came to Carmen after I got my BBL for lymphatic drainage massages. I can say that she is hands down the best and really knows her stuff! She is caring and compassionate. I cannot recommend her enough!

Carmen was great! I came to her for post op massages and I am so glad I did. She did manual massages and then used ultrasound, which breaks down and prevents fibrosis more than manual alone. She was really knowledgeable of the healing process and super helpful in giving advice/ recommendations. I got my surgery in another state, so I didn’t have close guidance from my surgeons office. I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t have her! Will definitely be going back to smooth out any bumps/ unevenness that formed since I stopped seeing her.

Carmen is clearly an expert in post-surgery procedure. I went to her 4 months post because I had not been able to afford a normal series of massages like I had done with previous surgeries. I have lipodema so I've had a few. She is definitely no nonsense in manner but incredibly caring and thorough while treating. I recommend going for a series of treatments much sooner after surgery. She would absolutely help the healing process.
