Charo's Hair Design and Day Spa

I’ve been going to this salon for years, and I can definitely say it’s the best in the area. The salon is clean, welcoming, and always a relaxing experience from start to finish. I trust them completely with my hair and always walk out feeling refreshed. 10/10!

Popped into Charo's on Grand Ave for a mani-pedi and a quick trim. Theresa was super friendly and took her time—felt like I was catching up with a neighbor. Dropped about $65 total, which ain't bad. Only hiccup was a 20-minute wait past my appointment time. Overall, solid spot with a cozy vibe. I'll be back when I need some pampering.

Teresa and staff are friendly and truly allow you to relax and unwind. They take their time with all their services. It isn't a fast paced place and honestly thats what I love about it. If you are the average person rushing in and out and need to just get out in a hurry. This isn't the place for you. Don't come and give a negative review, because you wanted expedited services. It's a spa salon. They truly allow you to submerge yourself in the "spa experience" and that's what places like this are all about. It's nice to walk in and be able to pamper yourself and check out of the every day hustle and bustle.

I really hate it here because Bianca (one of the people that does hair) takes forever to do hair. She’s trying something new of getting people out in 2 1/2 hours and it haven’t been working. On May 24th, 2024 i was getting my hair done but Bianca was distracted the WHOLE time and I had conditioner in my hair for like 4-5 hours. She’s lucky to even get 2 stars, this should be a one star shop. I hate it here and if you are a new person coming here, don’t come here……

Great atmosphere, like a luxury spa. Went in for a last minute hair appt. They were able to accommodate me (was early in the day). She did a fabulous job blow drying and styling it. Also got a Mani-pedi. Another lady did it and it took a little longer than I expected but she did a good job. Especially cause I don't pamper myself much. I would recommend the place and plan on going back.
