I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery in Sumter, SC, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. As someone who was a bit anxious going into the procedure, I truly appreciated how warm and welcoming the staff were — they took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt completely at ease. Big shout out to Dr Moussa and Charese! My Dad had all of his teeth extracted because of cancer treatments. My mother suddenly died in September and taking over my Dad’s care has not been easy. Everyone at this office was helpful and kind from the first point of scheduling a consultation, to dealing with insurance benefits and treatment plans, down to every detail at surgery day. I had three wisdom teeth, two of which were partially erupted, getting cavities, and causing pain. The third is fully impacted and has never caused any discomfort, so Dr. Moussa actually suggested leaving that one due to risks of permanent numbness with the tooth position and nerve location. I appreciate his honesty in consultation and trust his judgment so they took the two we discussed. I had the best wisdom teeth removal experience with Mealy. He is the best! The staff was very nice and patient. Mealy made sure to be detailed with information and going over my medical history before the surgery. He was very kind and professional. The staff are amazing from the time you check in to the time you go in the back. This was my daughter first time having dental work and the staff really helped overcome her fear.
