Jo & T are amazing. They are the perfect duo. T always does my relaxer and it is always laid. Jo cuts and styles my hair. Jo is so personable and so kind. I haven't met a stylist like her in a while. She is one of the sweetest woman I have ever met. She is meticulous and pays close attention to detail. I never leave feeling disappointed. I never have to tell her to fix anything, this woman knows what she is doing. I will forever be a client of hers because you can tell that she truly loves what she does and she it shows. The rest of the staff is very personable. I like the atmosphere, I also like that they sell products at the salon as well.

I’ve been to the salon twice and this is the place to be. Jodi knows what she’s doing when it comes to coloring and maintaining the health of your hair—especially locs. I’ve been loc’d for 5 years and wanted to color my hair for the first time but didn’t want to use bleach. Instead of being dismissive and insisting bleach was the only way, Jodi listened, respected my opinion, and agreed with me. She and Petal talked about the best process to get my hair the color I wanted without bleach and the final result was beautiful. Jodi and Petal are really a dynamic duo who are professionals who understand their craft, welcome you with a warm and genuine attitude, and take away the anxiety of going to a new salon to get your hair done. I highly recommend booking with Jodi or Petal!

My boys love Jodi so much they fired me as their hairstylist! That thick hair and length got me crazy. Leave it to the Pros! Jodi is highly recommended for her patience & professional mannerisms.

Wow!! where do I even begin? I was in need of a change and decided to book with Petal at changing faces for a pixie cut. Best decision ever! Petal was so kind, made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process, gave me tea lol and explained after care steps for my hairstyle. Additionally, the salon itself is very clean and super chic. If you’re wondering whether or not to book, just do it! You’ll be happy you did

I was loyal customer when this salon was called De Lux Gallery. I’d also begun bringing my two daughters, ages 4 and 6. The salon has since changed owners and I’ve begun caring for my own hair to make more room for their hair care in my budget and all of that is fine with me. As long as the spot was still Black owned and the staff was still nice, I resolved that I’d keep going there. However, this place needs to be reminded of a few best practices when consulting with new customers and those booking for children, especially. When I called to book, we discussed that I was booking natural braids for two small girls. They knew I wanted them both to get a wash and trim.
