Chanda-Kabita's Beauty & Brows Threading

Would definitely not recommend coming here. I was visiting my in laws and needed a place to do my threading for an upcoming wedding. The lady who did my face cut up my whole chin- and under lip. I literally have scars from it. Terrible work.

I’ve always been more than happy with my eyebrow and waxing services here, until my last visit. I came in for a Brazilian wax, which is priced at $40. That’s fine. But I was surprised and disappointed to be charged an additional $10 for a butt strip, something that is typically included in a Brazilian wax. If the pricing has changed, just be upfront and increase the base price rather than adding hidden fees. It feels misleading, and I don’t appreciate that. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the owner’s presence during the conversation, standing nearby in a way that felt intimidating rather than helpful.

I will never come to this place again. I’ve been here 3 times. The first time a wonderful experience & brows were done so nice. The last 2 times they took so much off from my brows I looked awful. The pregnant girl that just did one brow just now today was extremely rude to me referring to me as “girl” & telling me not to blame her but she was the one doing my brows. I left with 1 brow done only. I don’t understand how people get their liscense in this field & their work looks like someone who is still in training. Save your money & go somewhere where they want to make their customers happy & not somewhere where the employees get defensive when they are critiqued.

This place is great! The lady is very professional and nice and welcoming. And most importantly she does a terrific job. The place is located across from Wegmans on lyell.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I came here due to my regular eyebrow person being on vacation. I spent MONTHS growing my eyebrows into the desired shape and fullness that compliments my face. I communicated to the woman before touching them, to take a little off and just clean them, and i do not like them thin. Next thing I know I look in the mirror, and she has not only made my eyebrows pencil thin, but uneven! I was so livid and expressed she made them too thin. She precedes to argue with me (instead of apologizing) saying she knows better what works, AND had an attitude! I am beyond livid and now have to spend the next couple of months growing my eyebrows back in. I would NEVER recommend this place!
