Certified Cuts

I sent my son in law here. He placed his appointment online. When he showed up for the scheduled time the man asked him do you have an appointment and he said yes. Then the guy tells him well we’re full. I forgot to turn my books off online. He tells him he can go next after the man in the chair so my son in law waited. It’s a holiday weekend he wanted his hair cut. Had no problem waiting. Then someone else walks in soon as that man got out the chair the other man that just walked in jumped right into the chair. Never did then acknowledge my son-in-law who was still sitting there. Mind you he just moved here. He knows nothing about Chicago or where to go. He was sent here by me. So he patiently waited. The disappointment is that my son-in-law had to get up and walk out because he waited

Just tried it again. Walked into this establishment with my son met the owner. Guess he got really upset because I left a review on how I really felt decline my service because I would not remove the review. He also told me that it was not about race, but once again, I was the only black person at this location so it’s if was not about race. What do you call it? You refuse to service me because of my color of skin . Please be aware do not go to this location they’re will not service you well if you don’t look like them.

I had a real bad experience today at this shop, not with the guy that's cutting hair they greeted my son and I as we walked through the door!!! So I was looking for a good lockologist for my son whom has dreads and need a touch up. I was referred to the lockologist (Ms. T) by a person I know that gets their hair done by her and she gave me Ms. T's number. I call and she told us to arrive at the shop at 10a.m. My son and I arrived by 9:55, and like I said was greeted by the gentleman that was cutting his clients hair. A lady rushed pass me and didn't speak at all, so I figured that they were a customer, but then she disappeared into a room... Tuesday, is the stylist that does dreads here. She is probably the No. 1 person to do dreads in the city, plus they have about 4 barbers always on staff. This is a nice spot to go get a haircut or your dreads done, and it's not all ghettoriffic either.

Now, The Facts are, I have never actually got a cut from their, but I know 5 guys that go their All the time, and they swear by this place. I asked them this very question and I'm summarize their. Most Definitely worth the price, whatever it did...
