I can’t say enough good things about Amber!! I moved from North Carolina to Austin TX and still fly back just to see her… cuz she’s that awesome. She’s incredibly kind, charismatic, and extremely skilled at what she does. At my most recent appointment, I wasn’t fully happy with how my color turned out, and Amber went out of her way to make it right, even fitting me in after hours to fix it. She really cares about her clients satisfaction, and it shows. I always walk out feeling confident thanks to her incredible artistry and down-to-earth, lighthearted energy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for cut and/or color services at Ceremony!!

I got a new hair style. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but Salem was very helpful and accommodating. They were able to figure something out and did a great job even though I wasn't really able to explain what exactly I wanted. They were also really cool, interesting, and fun to talk to. I would definitely go back to them again.

I had a haircut here last week and unfortunately I’m horrified with the result. The cut is uneven on both sides, with very harsh, choppy edges instead of a blended finish. A coworker genuinely asked if I had cut it myself. I asked for a simple trim, but the final result looks rushed and unbalanced. I expected a much higher level of quality and precision, especially at $140 for what was meant to be a basic haircut. I now need to visit another salon to correct it. I really wanted to love this place, but based on my experience, I can’t recommend it. I hope the salon takes more care with precision and listening to client requests in the future.

Love so much about Ceremony — my new go-to hair spot! I’ve loved a haircut and a bang trim by Adriane — she asks great questions and heard me well, and intuited right away how to work with my hair texture. The vibes in the salon are great, and the location is super convenient. Definitely will be a happy repeat customer!

I do not recommend this salon. As a visitor in the Research Triangle, I went to Ceremony Salon for a root touch-up with a warm blonde tone using high-lift color and a trim. My appointment was with Elizabeth. I was charged $420 based on a $140 hourly rate that was not disclosed upfront. Processing time, staff downtime and plenty of small talk were fully charged at that rate. I left the salon with a cold blonde tone instead of the warm blonde I requested, and with visibly damaged hair. The salon refused to correct the issue or provide a refund.
