Center Square Barber Shop

Center square are the best barbers around. I’ve been a customer for a decade now. Dan has created a great friendly environment with talented staff. Shout out to Rachel! Have recommended a number of people check this place out and if you’re reading this you should too.

This is probably the best place in the area to go for a haircut. Nolan has cut my hair multiple times and I’m consistently happy with the end results. I’ve always felt incredibly welcome in the shop, the shop itself is clean and inviting and I always have a good time speaking with Nolan as well as Dan and Rachel. They’re a wonderful staple within the Lark St neighborhood and cannot recommend them enough!

The entire staff is so welcoming. Dan took his time with my hair, discovering and conquering every single one of the various cowlicks I have. My hair sits perfectlyal after my cut, is growing in nicely, and he made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe in his shop. Great vibes, great people, great hair care and product recommendations!

Really terrible experience right off the bat. I am from out of town and just looking to get my hair cleaned up quick before heading out. I was greeted with a very negative attitude being only about 7 minutes late for my appointment. Elder gentleman with a grey beard (I learned later is the owner Dan) at the the desk refused to be even remotely accommodating to me and essentially just blew me off, offering me other openings late in the day that did not help me since I'm not a local or regular customer. Absolutely awful customer service. Will not be recommending or attempting to make another appointment here.

I like this place better than anywhere else for one important reason. They take the time to tape your neck up properly so you're not itchy and suffering with *~sensory issues~* all day. Good conversation, good spot. Cut is good. I go here and it's good. Dan cuts my hair.
