Cedar Massage

When I say Owen is one of my favorite at Cedar Massage he does a magnificent job!!!! You have to come check him and all the other staff out they are the best. I come every 2weeks and never miss an appointment!!!

From the moment I walked in, I knew something was off. The air was heavy with the unmistakable scent of stale cigarette smoke. Not exactly the aroma you expect at a place advertising “calming, healing energy.” Instead of being welcomed into a tranquil escape, I felt like I had just stepped behind a smoke filled bar. I still held out hope. I wanted to give it a chance. But then came the “setup” and I use that term lightly. What should’ve been a soft-sheeted massage table was instead covered in thin, mismatched hand towels barely large enough to provide basic coverage. The environment didn’t whisper peace; it shouted unprepared and unprofessional. As for the massage itself? Painful in every way. They ruined my Valentine's Day! I set an appointment for a couples massage. They accepted walk-ins as we were walking in and told us we had to wait. Then asked if we wanted separate rooms. Absolutely not! There's no point of a couples massage in separate rooms. There's no need to make reservations with them. After waiting over 20 mins for a room to open, there were no robes in the room & we realized getting the massage would make us late our dinner reservations. 0/10! Do not recommend!

I had a very pleasant experience here. I had sharp pain in my muscles, & it hurt to even move prior to my appointment. I had relief within the next two days to help release my knots and muscle tension This was my first deep tissue massage. Owen is AMAZING.

I understand days can be busy, and I’m not sure if staffing was limited today, but it did show. The massage felt a bit rushed and the technique was inconsistent, which isn’t my usual experience here. I normally always have a great massage. I’d rather be told you’re fully booked than have the staff stretched too thin. Thank you for understanding.
