I buy ponytails, and this last one I bought from them matted up the same day. She said because she had no more complaints she couldn't do anything. I think she should accommodate accordingly, I will not be shopping at CDC anymore. This is not the first time.

I would love to give this place a 5 star because the beauty supply is so awesome with inventory. The staff is amazing and always so friendly. However the ac has been out the entire summer. I feel so bad for staff and as a customer I could barely shop. I wish the owners would correct the issue with the AC before someone passes out or faint.

They are a good store with lots of products, and they have good stock and inventory, but they don’t do returns. That is the reason for this review. I purchased braiding hair about 30 minutes ago, never left the store, and then when I wanted to return the hair to get something else, I was told no returns and only store credit. Cali Beauty does returns, and I thought I found a new beauty supply store, but nope. Cali Beauty is actually cheaper in braiding hair. So, it’s a good store, but not for me.

This store has a wide variety of hair supplies but the people working there are not knowledgeable about the products or its uses. I have been to this place a few times and there hasn't been anyone who could relate to African American hair textures. I would only shop here if it's the closest location from me at the time but there are other beauty supplies on 7th street.
