✨A Hidden Gem!✨ Great experience at this beauty shop today! Was worried I wouldn’t be ready for AX 2025 and expected I’d have to make a few different stops to get everything on my list. But they had everything I needed in one stop—which was such a nice surprise. The owners were really kind and helpful, and the whole place had a welcoming vibe. It made for a really smooth and pleasant experience. Definitely glad I found this spot—I'll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

It really saddens me to see some of the comments here. I have been going to Howard and Michelle's shop since I was in high school back in 05' and I'm almost 40 still going...they have always treated us with dignity, respect and provided us with some amazing hair tips in last minute hair crunches. If you're buying curly hair and it says 18 inches just know that length is IN the curls not 18 inches at the stop point. They are not hair dressers...they're selling products that are now made MORE cheap & skimpy than years back (out of their control) it's the suppliers....they are one of the ONLY affordable black hair shops in ALL of North County. Put some respect on this business and stop being trashy.

I’ve been to quite a few store throughout the area and all of California—This is by far a Wonderful, fully stocked store, tended to by the most helpful & lovely couple that owns it. Took a lot of time to match my hair color to the halo and then to answer all of my questions about the different types of quality as far as wigs go. No exaggerations or “just for me” specials. Honest and Affordable. This will now be my “go-to” store for anything hair related. Thank you guys a ton!

Called before I went in. They said they had what I wanted. Went in. Had nothing close to what I wanted. That Asian man that works there has zero clue as to what or where anything is or any knowledge behind hair or basically any use of help. While I was there I also overheard a customer complaint about him not giving back the correct change. He was trying to convince me that the wig he had was what was what I wanted and was the one I was showing in the photo I had. It wasn’t. Eventually I just put away my other things I had and ended up leaving.

I honestly wouldn't even give this place a star. yes, they have a lot to chose from. the store is very clean but the man I dealt with was EXTREMELY rude and UNWILLING to help me. I told him price didn't matter to me. I just wanted good quality hair that I wanted. he said "well all the hair runs from $250 to $2,000. how much are you even able to spend." again, I told him the price didn't matter. I didn't care about price. he told me I already had too much hair and didn't need anymore. all I wanted was a short wig to match my curl pattern because my hair is really damaged. that's all I wanted. but instead I got a man in his late 40s early 50s being rude and no desire to help me whatsoever. it's unfortunate because they have good stuff here but maybe I'll come back when they change staff
