I originally met Melissa through my old stylist who brought her as an assistant for my wedding a few years ago. My previous stylist moved out of state and I knew I could trust Melissa with my hair! She is so kind, thoughtful, accommodating and experienced! When I made my first highlight appointment with her, I had a 10 month old at home, so she worked with me to find an early evening appointment to highlight my hair. I LOVE how she takes notes on the products and colors she used so she knows exactly what to do when I want to have brighter/blonder hair or when I want to have darker hair! Her salon space is so cozy and she’s always offering me snacks, coffee, or other drinks. It’s a huge bonus that we get to catch up on our reality tv when I’m in her chair too🤪 I couldn’t recommend Casa de G

I started going to Melissa in 2022/2023. I hadn’t gotten my hair done in at least a decade and was semi new to HB. I reached out to a salon Melissa was working at time and was referred to her. From the first visit, I was starting my “hair journey” and wanted to learn more about how to properly care for it. It’s become a hair journey for the two of us! From going to seminars to getting tips from a curl hair specialist, Melissa is constantly seeking knowledge to provide the best possible for her clients. She’s always on the lookout for the best hair care and has introduced me to some of my favorite hair products. I can't say enough good things about Melissa! She's truly gifted when it comes to balayage and hair transformations — she knows exactly how to bring out the best in your hair while keeping it healthy and beautiful. Her haircuts are always on point, and she gives honest advice that I genuinely appreciate (no sugarcoating, just real care). On top of that, she’s an amazing host — you always feel welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of in her space. I’ve been a client of Melissa’s since she was an assistant, which has been just about 4 years now. She is such a breath of fresh air.
