The last two times I’ve visited the private soaking tubs the attendants made my experience unwelcoming and disruptive to a relaxing experience. I needed to use the restroom and the spa attendant wanted to refuse my entrance to the bathroom because I had not shown her my ticket yet. She seemed to be upset with me for going to the bathroom. Then when I was ready for my tub she wasn’t ready and I started the session 5 minutes late. Then towards the end of the soak she knocked on the curtain and said I need to get out in 5 minutes but I still had ten minutes left. The second visit the attendant wasn’t at the desk. I figured I’d get ready for my massage and sho the ticket after I changed. I went to the changing room and as I was changing/disrobing she came in and asked for my ticket and I was

I love Carson Hot Springs. I’ve been coming here for years. While the owners have changed and the prices have gone up the service has remained consistent and friendly. I don’t mind paying more to help for much needed updates, staffing and cleaning. I will l be back and bringing a friend; just one friend. I don’t want too many folks to know about this place! The quality of the water is amazing. I love getting a longer tub because I’m tall and my favorite is getting a tight body wrap of blankets. They have 3 showers but one was out of service. There is a sauna and a new public shared pool.

I love this place where you have the option of soaking in hot spring mineral water via a huge vintage tub in the historic bath house or in a jetted hot pool. A cold (like really cold) plunge pool is right next to the hot pool. The enclosure is delightfully warm with plenty of lounge type chairs. Lockers and dressing areas are available. It's such a great place to hang out on a cold winter day. Lodging is available, as well as hourly soaking rates. The drive there is beautiful too.

Had a great time enjoyed all the emenities. Staff was very helpful. The rooms are great. Views of the woods and listening to the birds was wonderful. The bath house is fantastic and relaxing.

Cute, rustic, historic buildings still standing and operating. Reminds me of a Wes Anderson film location honestly. Spent a long weekend there as a birthday present to myself and enjoyed it. They have a modern swimming pool/tub which uses water pumped in from the springs but is chlorinated, diluted and the temperature is adjusted so you can’t make it hotter or colder. Includes a cold pool as well. Doesn’t feel as magical as a traditional one. Children are allowed in here. The spa treatment which uses unchlorinated spring water and is more traditional is a separate cost on top of the hotel stay. You pay for every session you want. But it is worth the price. You soak in a private claw-footed bathtub which you control the temperature of so you can really make it scalding if you like being a
