I’ve been a client of Lashone’s for nearly 8 years (since we moved to the Upstate). I was looking for someone who could do natural hair and she was a great match! Her personality and her hospitality were welcoming. Shortly after the pandemic I transitioned to locs and I didn’t know that she did them so I went from salon to salon and while the services were good, there was always the issue of atmosphere. Back to school 2023, I took my daughter to get her hair done by Lashone and that’s when she told me she did locs as well. I was elated! Now, not only am I back to Lashone after two years of trying different locticians, but my teenage son also gets his hair retwisted by Lashone! It was hard to find at first, just look for a sign for a chiropractor business and the beauty salon label is right underneath. It's right before the Resurrection church on N. Main street. It was a cozy, welcoming locale right from the entrance. I walked in and was greeted by a charming young little girl (Heather's daughter). I asked if I was in the right place and she said yes and gave me the biggest smile. Heather walked out and greeted me warmly. I was very comfortable with her. I felt she understood what I wanted. I never felt like she was rushing to get my hair done like I've felt at other places. She was very nice, charismatic, and professional. She was helpful in explaining how to care for my color treated hair at home. I'm happy to say I think I've found my go-to hair salon. Will be

Just wanted to say Jules at Carolina hair salon was wonderful. I had a Groupon for color or highlight or biolage and haircut and I gave her a run for her money.I showed her several different pictures of different types of cutting styles and ask them to be incorporated and we sat down and talked about them for a spell and then while she was cutting I kept pointing out what I didn't think she understood.she kept working at it she gave me some good direction on you know my hair type and she listened to me babble on for 3 hours about everything in the world. we also did a color with a highlight and we reviewed what to be used on my hair would be good. the cut came out nice. really as I said she did a great job doing my hair today she really stuck with it trying to get what I was going for and

I wasn't able to have my hair cut. Their website clearly stated Walk ins welcome. However, I didn't feel very welcome. Also, it's in the same house as the Chiropractor. Kinda strange walking by some man getting adjusted, go find where to get your hair done. I had even called ahead to find out exactly where they were located. Instead of telling me then that she couldn't take me on then she waited until I was inside. I personally would like to feel like my business is appericated. Fortunately, there are hundreds of more hair salons around this area.

I highly recommend Mara as a hair stylist. She did a great job adding blonde highlights to my hair which is naturally dark brown. Mara is very professional and knowledgeable about hair coloring. She is also caring and is concerned about maintaining healthy hair which can be damaged by the bleaching process. My hair feels and looks great.
