I love going here to see Vivian!! As advertised, she is a curly hair sorceress. I've had a lot of compliments on my hair's new shape. I also appreciate the flexibility it gives me to put in low/medium effort and get great results, with now than ones styling option - each of which lasts for days.

Best hair salon ever! Andrea, the owner, is so talented and kind. She always does wonders with my curly hair and I always look forward to spending time with her. On occasion I haven't been able to get in with her, I've booked with others and always had a good experience/ been happy with the haircut too. So happy to have found this gem and prefer it over my previous hair salons in NY, Denver, Baltimore, and Chicago. So i hate doing this to a business but i feel people need to see this. This was an awful experience I cried for weeks. I went in and seen Nancy to get a blended blonde look, she unevenly bleached my virgin hair, left my money piece orange due to under processing the front of my hair and the toner she used didn’t take to my hair. So I left with yellowy blonde alllllll over, orange money pieces and no color left in my hair even though I asked for a blended subtle look. I left looking like the real slim shady. 😭 so I called Andrea the owner of canvas she offered to fix it for me, and she did try but she made the front of my hair PINK and then flaked on me when she said she would fix it for me. Got sick and went on vacation for over a week and then completely ghosted me. I sent her pictures of

Canvas Hair Studio is a local staple! Welcoming atmosphere, friendly & talented staff! I highly recommend Jess Sanders she has always worked her magic on my thick hair. Always gives me the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my life!! (gives texture/layers using razer cut) also gives unreal blowouts! Would recommend to anyone!
