Was excited to go because they marketed as lgbtq plus friendly. Barber was pretty friendly but he gave me microcuts around my hairline and pushed it back. Was really dissatisfied when I left the shop. Looks like someone took clippers and just randomly tried to shape my hairline. He also rubbed rubbing alcohol on my hairline. A lot of things were wrong and I sadly wouldn't recommend this shop, or at least this barber to anyone.
I swung by CameraReadyKutz for a haircut, and it was a next-level experience! As a singer-actor, I needed a cut that could go from everyday basic to a classic 1940s style. I'd tried a few spots, but they weren't cutting it. Found these guys on Google, and just had a feeling they'd get it. Booked with Khane, the owner, and it was a great call. She really cares about nailing your vision. I felt so comfortable there, and I felt genuinely heard. Khane's skills are on point; she dialed in the look I wanted. I'm sure the rest of their crew is awesome, too. I snapped a few pics when I got home: 1) Gray tee: Pompadour shape, blown out. 2) Blue shirt: My hair's natural texture. 3) B&W pic: Classic 1940s conk. Bottom line: CameraReadyKutz is the real deal. If you want a top-notch haircut that hi
Wash and re- twist by Val and it was a very pleasant experience. The wash was thorough my scalp was well oiled skys my locs were dried without over drying. The salon is very clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is very welcoming and chill.
My normal experience is 5/5! E Lee is the best. I have been coming here for a cut for years and continue coming back though I’ve now moved further north in BK. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the male barber cause I needed a last minute cut. As someone else mentioned in their review, I had scars around my hair line due to micro cuts from the clippers and also wasn’t happiest with the final shape of my cut. Never had a bad cut or chair experience with E Lee! Book them!
I found Khane and their shop Mid COVID. I was going through thinning hair and then ultimately alopecia. I was embarrassed to walk into a barber shop. Khane offered all kinds of suggestions for my hair problems and they did it so kindly! I like that if I’m on time my hair gets done on time so I don’t have to wait amongst other people too long! I keep coming back because when I leave there my confidence boost is ridiculous.
