Cal-a-Vie Health Spa

We just spent 4 days at Cal A vie and I cried (not kidding) when we were leaving because I didn’t want it to end. Every aspect of our day was incredible, the food, attention to detail, the property. We came to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the team for an unforgettable stay, we can’t wait to come back!!!

I travel often and have stayed at many high-end resorts and spas, but this was by far the worst experience l've ever had. I ended up forfeiting a night's stay just to leave early-and that should say everything. The resort is structured around forced socializing. Every meal requires you to sit with a group of strangers (unless you want to eat alone in your room with room service). It felt like being back in high school-cliques forming, gossip, awkward silences, and even rude comments from other guests. I came here for rest, relaxation, and a break from social pressures, not to be trapped in an adult summer camp dynamic. The food was another huge letdown. And the warm glow of Texas hospitality is apparent from the moment you are greeted at reception by the valet to the moment you check out and sadly leave.|Each employee beams with the same enthusiasm and passion as the owners and they go out of their way to cater to your every need even making a huge effort to greet each guest by name throughout your stay. Best health spa! One of a kind experience! Healthy food and super friendly staff. Whether you want to relax or get in shape, this is the place. From the morning hike to the amazing planetarium exhibition at night... that's the cherry on top of the icing! I have been twice already and planning to go back soon!
