Cabral Barber Shop

Subpar haircuts …. One of the rudest, nastiest people I’ve ever met was this barber. If you are an English speaking person don’t bother coming here. He works in a service industry but has a disgusting personality. And yes I am talking about the owner, Cabral. Go elsewhere to get your cut, there’s younger, better and more hospitable barbers all over Rockaway blvd. And they speak better English so it makes for better customer service.

Absolutely dreadful... This barber needs far more than just English lessons; he desperately needs to learn customer service. His behavior is so appalling that I seriously doubt he's even a licensed barber. I suffer from dandruff and dry skin, and instead of simply cutting my hair, he had the audacity to call me dirty in his language and repeatedly told me to take a shower. This clearly shows he knows nothing about hair. I tried to overlook it, but his attitude only deteriorated from there. He even had the nerve to argue with me just because I was looking at the cut in the mirror. It was as if he was under some influence. I am never setting foot in this shop again. This barber is extremely rude and nasty. ALWAYS has an attitude whenever you walk into the barbershop. He has such poor customer service. It’s wild to me how someone who understands and speaks little English can be so rude to their customers ….. His shop is not going to last long with this mentality. He needs to understand and accept that in this neighborhood, you will get a diverse clientele. Not all your customers are going to be Hispanics 🤷‍♂️

I explained what I wanted for my haircut and then after all that he just tells me to pick from the pictures. Which by the way have ALL short hair styles. I guess haircuts for medium hair doesn’t exist. There goes 7 months of hair growth. Also overpriced as well.

Takes their time, and really pays attention to detail. I 100% recommend. Price is reasonable as well! Place is always clean too
