BX Barksdale Barber Shop

Usually I get pretty good haircuts here, but this last guy (only male barber that day) was subpar for results. Hard part was wider than I have almost ever seen a slightly crooked. Recommend the barber named Sunny as she has consistently done a way better job than this last guy did today.

Would not recommend. I show up at 3:22 on a Monday 7th, there is one person sitting waiting and 4 ladies on the right cutting hair. The lady closest to the door said sir " we are not taking any more customers" "we close at 4p" , I said " thank God because it's 3:23", she said "no we are closed " I looked at the sign and said "are the times wrong" she said "we stop taking people at 3pm" When are people who work a m-f supposed to get a cut? Are the times not correct on the door? Does "we close at 4pm" mean we start cleaning at 3:30 and walk out the door at 4pm, the website times need to be changed.

This specific appointment was good experience. Robert did a great job, if I could, I’d prefer to get my cut by him in the future. 5 Stars. The shop does seem a bit bland. 3 Stars. Recommend getting larger TVs, especially as football season is coming around. Maybe accent wall to build up the experience of being in a barbershop. If you can make it an experience, there could be more of a draw for customers.

Not bad at all, and swell people too. If you actually tell them what you want, they give you options and feedback. Sonny lights up my day after work as do most of them.

Would not reccomend. My husband just left and he doesnt know how to take up for his self. Staff is beyond rude and he will never come back and we will make sure to tell everyone to never go.
