Due to the nature of my schedule I almost always book with Kainoa last minute but he always does his best to fit me in where he can. At least half the time it doesn't work out but that's the nature of finding a good fade on Kaua'i, you either schedule ahead or you roll the dice. But the times I have gotten a fade from him it's always been great. He's always on my list of people I recommend to others. Don't hesitate.

Posting this for my boyfriend since he's rarely this happy with a haircut. Just went in with a photo and a general idea of what he was looking for and came out with one of the best haircuts he's ever gotten. And now a word from the man himself: Kainoa really knows what he's doing and you can tell he's a master of his craft from the ease with which he takes into account your request and translates it into something fresh and unique. This is my go to place for a cut or touch up before a big event now. Scheduling is easy, service is phenomenal and the haircut itself goes above your expectations. There I was...ordering my usual pastry on Rice St. when this sweetheart of an auntie walked up and said "are you deezy isles?". At the moment I realized....its time for a visit with Mr. Buttah Blendz. But just my luck, yep. He was booked. I panicked.. To my surprise, within 5 minutes he called back saying he could squeeze me in late notice between his lunch just make to sure I got right before my date that night. Within the hour I found myself wrapped in a custom chosen barber's cape softer than what I imagined the Golden Fleece to have been. He executed an expert-level medium taper fade that left me feeling a bit like Clark Kent. I'll be back next month.
