BSW Beauty - Chili

The store itself is fine just like any other beauty store they just have a bad return policy. I went to return an unopened brush with the receipt that I bought less than a week ago and just found something better and when I go to return it they say they don’t take returns on brushes but on the receipt it doesn’t say that, but apparently on the sign in front of the register in small print says it. I completely understand having a strict return policy but you literally can’t return just about anything you buy there like everything in the store excludes the return policy, it’s stupid. Honestly I’ve been shopping here my whole life and today I decided I’m better off shopping on Amazon in the future where If I buy extra or find a better price I can do a no hassle return. This store has their hours posted as closing at 8 PM which is incorrect. My daughter was in town for the weekend and needed a specific product that was only sold at beauty supply stores like this so we looked up this store and drove 20 minutes there arriving at 7:51 pm. She was going to run into the store and pick up the one product that she needed, We were not there to browse around. There was a sign on the door however that said they lock their doors at 7:50 pm. That means, that they close at 7:50 pm and just allow the customers already in the store to shop/check out until 8 pm. It is fine to close at 7:50 PM, but they need to advise that. Had we known that the store actually closed at 7:50 PM to outside customers, We would’ve driven the other direction to a different store that was open

Asian businesses and their dubious return policies. Who waits until the day before needed to purchase makeup products? Their cream and powder Kiss makeup is always mixed in together. Yet you can only return or exchange them within 24 hours. Purchased three powder thinking they were the cream. Today, a few days after purchase discovered they were powder tried to exchange. BSW refused. So I lost 30 some dollars. Unfortunately Walmart does not carry Black Opal anymore, which I prefer. It is a much better makeup. Fashion Fair was the best. Hard to find makeup appropriate for Black skin.
