I chose this salon for several reasons. 1. Proximity 2. Google images 3. Google reviews Let me just say I was not impressed. I scheduled an appointment in advance and upon arrival had to wait almost 3 hours before being serviced. What was the point of making an appointment?? Once she finally started on my hair it felt like she rushed doing my hair unlike the care and attention she took with the clients she had in her chair during MY scheduled time. She said that she was going to be out for surgery so I was understanding of that, but I felt out of place the whole time I was in her salon like she and her clients were talking about me. And to make matters worse the braids that she did in my hair were bulky and didn't last more than a few weeks. Despite all of this, I tried to schedule ANO

Set an appointment with Marilyn for my mom to have her hair done today at 12:30pm. This stylist was not at the location advertised on Google, would not answer our numerous calls, did not have a voice mail set up, & only responded to my texts after my mom had left to go home. I found this salon on Google and based on the reviews I thought it would be a good fit for my mom. Unfortunately, for this experience the reviews were misleading. I wanted to treat my mom, but unfortunately all she got was disappointment.

The owner took such good care of me! Aside from her being one of the only salons open during this time and who would so do a relaxer, she got me an appt the next day. I was the only one in the shop and didnt have to wait. Her shop was clean. Pricing was reasonable and she was friendly! And of course my hair was done sooooo well! I just moved here and I officially found my new salon! I'm a customer for good now ❤

The new owner "Marylyn Jackson" is a step above the rest. Not only does she provide an amazing look & style but she actually cares for your hair. The environment is comfortable, inviting, clean, and consistent. Their slogan "Life Isn't Perfect but Your Hair Can Be" says it all. I got a sewin from Marylyn and I have to say she is the bomb.com, I left feeling great about my hair she is very professional, very friendly, I feel as though I’ve known her for a life time. My appt was right on time her shop is very clean and very well organized. She don’t know it yet but she has a life long client🥰
