BrowBar by Incense

Hi, I went to this brow bar with high hopes. Unfortunately, my hopes were shattered the moment I sat down in the chair. I received services from an older lady (name unknown ) for eyebrow threading. When I sat down in the chair, she gave me a tissue and started hacking away. Literally moving very swiftly across my skin. This wasn’t my first time with threading so, I knew something was different. She was going so fast on my left eye that she was snatching hair from my right. I presumed this to be a new technique. At one point I did ask her to hold up, in an attempt to slow her down but that didn’t work. A mirror was stuck in my face to signify she was finish. I glanced and said thank you and paid. I had to ask for alcohol to prevent scabs or bruising because my skin was on fire. I went outs

I LOVE this place!! I have gone here to get my eyebrows threaded for at least the past 5 years! These ladies do an incredible job at keeping my brows thick and beautiful but tamed! I knew the first time I saw my brows once they finished, I would be going back religiously!

For the reviews mentioning the older lady I did have that experience early on; however, when walking in you can request you want a certain lady to do yours. I always get the Indian lady to do mine from now on. She is very understanding that my brows fail to grow so I’d like to preserve as much as possible. She even goes back to correct areas that you point out she missed. You’ll be in and out within a few minutes if there isn’t much of a line. Holiday time can get BUSY!

I’ve always had nice eyebrows and have gotten my eyebrows threaded at several places over the years. This place is the worst. I tried it 2x...hoping it would be different the 2nd time around. Negative! I sat down and the older woman just started rapidly going at my eyebrows. I sat in my car afterwords wanting to cry. She left one brow thick and just annihilated the other one!
