I have held back from writing this review because I don't like to leave negative reviews, especially if I think the business is owned by women. However, this was the worst threading experience I have ever had and I left feeling bad about myself so I felt like I had to write something. There was no one in the shop when I arrived and I was asked to wait 10 mintues. The technician was in a room so i thought she must be with another client, but when she came out, no client ever came out. Then as I was getting my eye brows done, she kept commenting on how my eyebrows are thin and there isn't a lot of hairs. She then told me that i need a facial because my skin isn't smooth (for context, I have recently started getting facials to correct acne scarring and my skin is the smoothest it has ever bee

NEVER COME HERE ON A TUEDAY!!! I usually come here all the time and get great service but I came on a Tuesday and it wasn’t the usual lady and the other lady was HORRIBLE! She was mean and had a very bad attitude. I had to stop in the middle of the service and ask her if she knew how to thread eyebrows because she was hurting me so much and she was going extremely slow as if she didn’t know how use the the thread. I asked where the lady was that I always come see and she said she’s off on Tuesday’s and bluntly told me to remember that so I never come back on Tuesday so she doesn’t have to service me!!! I never yelled at her or gave her an attitude back I was just deeply concerned and she was hurting me so much.

For context: I arrived on November 27th around 6pm, and there were no other customers in the store. I was asked to sit down; without any questions the service begins. I proceed to get the worst eyebrow threading of my life. It did feel like she was taking off more than necessary, I typically go to the brow nook every few months to maintain the natural shape and thickness of my eyebrows. I will provide a before photo (me with braids and brown hat) and after picture to show how the front of my right eyebrow was removed, and the tail of my left eyebrow is gone. The energy of this salon is different and it reflects in their work. I have gone to this shop since 2017 and I will not be back.
